DAY
1
We depart
Cape Town at 08h30 via the N2 toward the resort town of
Gordon’s Bay. We drive along the coast, which offers
sweeping views over False Bay, passing charming fishing towns.
Arriving at Betty’s Bay.
Visit
the Harold Porter botanical gardens for a walk and tea.
Working our
way towards Hermanus, one of the best shore based whale
watching areas in the world.
Wine
tasting at the Hamilton Russell wine estate. Lunch in Hermanus.
Arrive at
Grootbos Nature reserve, check in to your luxury chalets. We
board our 4 x 4 land rover at 16h00 for a drive to the beach.
Champagne is served while enjoying the snow white beaches as
far as the eye can see in this glorious paradise.
Return to
the lodge for a drink before dinner. We overnight at the guest
lodge.
DAY
2
After a
leisurely breakfast ,we enjoy a full days activities which
include some of the following
- Walk
to Milkwood forest
- Mountain
biking
- Boat
trip to Dyer Island
- Boat
trip to see whales
- Champagne
on beach
We have
dinner and again overnight at the
guest lodge.
DAY
3
After
breakfast, we depart for Cape Town . Traveling along the N2 we
reach the fruit country, here we visit
a typical Cape farm stall.
Passing
apple and pear trees, we continue toward the awesome
Franschoek pass.
Down into
this charming French Huguenot town for a visit to the Memorial
and museum.
This town
is famous for its gastronomy, here we stop for lunch and Wine
tasting at Delaire wine estate
Down
the Helshoogte pass into the second oldest town in South
Africa, Stellenbosch. Visit
to the Dorps museum,Oom Sammie`s Shoppe and the old center of
the town Time
at leisure to explore, before returning to Cape Town.
