La Grange is a real hidden gem. It has a very tranquil setting, situated on a quiet cul-de-sac, next to a small stream that meanders its way down from Lion’s Head. This gives the property of very different feel, for although it is with in a few minutes walk of the beach, and the general hubbub of Camps Bay, it feels as though it could be in one of Cape Town’s much quieter suburbs.
The property is very spacious, and it enjoys a very open flow through the living areas. Upon entering the property (either through the front door, or via the shared lift which comes up from the communal basement parking) you come directly into the main living space. This consists of a large open plan area, which is divided into a sitting lounge, a dining room, a kitchen and an entertainment lounge.
This open plan area has access to garden/patio areas on either side of the house, as well as to the braai and pool area.
These outdoor areas are perfect relaxing out of the heat of the midday sun, or for enjoying a lazy Midsummer’s lunch.
